Can you amnesty players in nba 2k12

The Online Association improves by giving admins more options to run leagues with their preferred settings. In standard head-to-head match-ups, I occasionally experienced lag and dropped matches, but the performance improved for the most part outside of a fourth quarter bug that causes the scoreboard to disappear.

NBA 2K13 lacks a dedicated player vs. Starting with a squad of scrubs, your goal is to build a team of NBA superstars by spending virtual currency VC or real money on players or booster packs.

The VC also extends to modes beyond MyTeam. NBA 2K13 tallies VC totals online, so no matter what mode you are playing the game needs to interface with the servers. When the game launched, it suffered from connectivity issues that resulted in me losing VC and the results of the Association games I just played. Visual Concepts has since tweaked the servers to prevent this from happening. Several of the core concepts, like coach-defined roles determining player happiness, the trade finder, and the NBA Today interface, lay the foundation for a good experience.

Most of the player movement in free agency seemed plausible, but several superstars made curious career decisions. My favorite way to play NBA 2K13 is My Career, the single-player mode that tasks you with writing your legacy on the hardwood. New changes like virtual Twitter followers, the ability to build your own custom Nike shoe once you become a superstar, and meetings with the general manager that allow you to air your grievances give it more depth than similar modes in other sports games.

Becoming a game-changing player early in your career is also easier since you accrue VC outside of the mode. If you want to play with these teams, you need to do it in exhibition or online games. On the court, this game performs like a perennial all-star. In fact, scoring on the default difficulty setting in NBA 2K13 is easier than ever. There are some good players and potentially good players on the roster.

Just, aside from Howard, no other real stars. Just about every blog has spent its time ranking the top players in the league. Zach Lowe of The Point Forward made a list. The Basketball Jones has one too ranking the most important players to their site.

And there are plenty others. The consistent thing in each of these rankings is that Dwight Howard is near the top No. Lowe rated Jason Richardson was No. Gilbert Arenas got to No. And Hedo Turkoglu was No. It is a little creepy how similar they look. It is never good when two players make any list more as a joke than anything else.

Turkoglu and Arenas were definitely jokes when looking at their stats and their contracts last year — Bill Simmons and Jonathan Abrams pretty much said pick one wrong choice of words?

We have yet to see Dwight Howard obviously. Redick is the highest rated player that has been revealed so far on the list at No. Hedo Turkoglu chimed in at No. And this all goes back tot he main problem: the Magic need more from the players they have or generally need to improve the talent level on the roster.

These are accolades that show that, at least in name, the Amway Center is accomplishing its goal to spearhead the redevelopment of Church Street and Downtown Orlando. There has been a boom in business along the major Orlando thoroughfare and that goes double for game nights. Now, of course, the Magic are planning to study whether they can grow even more and build an entertainment complex with restaurants and shops among other projects across the street from the Amway Center where the city-owned parking garage is currently located.

This plan is not at all final and represents a major investment from the Magic. It sure seems like more growth is coming… although growth might need to be in quotation marks depending on who you ask. The reason, the report states is simple: Clark could not get used to eating the food in China. Apparently he left the team without much word and he is not certain what penalty he will face from his team.

But the report makes it sound like his team is moving on without him. Clark wanted to return to the U. Don't have an account? Sign up for free! What do you need help on? Cancel X. Topic Archived. User Info: Mizznox. I wouldn't expect it, but I suppose it'd be a nice addition. It's easy enough to build a great team as is, though. User Info: SaintSeiyaX.

DoctorCinnamon posted Do you think that 2K will add the amnesty clause option to 2K12 with the next update? I mean, eventually they will have to activate the rookies, so why not put this in as well.

What's the point if all the players who will get amnestied will be made FA until they sign with another team? People who don't use the official rosters? Or who start an Association with an official roster before people start to get amnestied. Hell, the clause doesn't even have to be used right away, they can use it any time during the entire length of the new CBA.

Mizznox posted You do know you can edit contracts in the game, right? You do know some people don't like to do that and feel it's like cheating, right? I'm not one of those, but I disagree with saying there's no point in updating what's supposed to be a realistic sim game to include new things the NBA has added.

You do realize its not cheating if you don't abuse it right? The amnesty clause is not a big deal. The game has to tweak a few other things first, like realistic CPU trades since we can't control or change that.
