What is the difference between 328 and 330

I thought I'd do some search online, so the link below is obviously not correct. But why does BMW call it differently?

So from 4th generation to 5th generation 3 series, how come the first year model overlaps the name i? Why didn't they name the Sedan i in ? Appreciate 0. Different model numbers for different markets. It used to be true that the engine displacement was the basis for the 2nd and 3rd digits in the Model number.

I know that they ended that in in the USA Market when they sold the 2. So they named the lower end car the It's the Slow Folks ahead of me that cause accidents! I can understand that. But as far as pricing goes both i and i were same. And both cars are identical, when it comes to shape, size of engine and other specifications. What is interesting is that the rolling road tests have shown the i to produce more power than stated and the wheel horse power is near to the book quoted BMW figures, I bet the is the same.
